Job Duties:

-Develop organization strategies by identifying and researching human resources issues, contributing information, analysis, direction, and aligning human resource objectives with organizational objectives;

-Manage human resource operations such as recruitment, screening, and selection of the right people with job fit for each position, conducting employee orientation, training, coaching and mentoring, counselling, and disciplining staff, conducting performance reviews to determine productivity, quality of work, contributions to the goals of the company, and determining training needs to address the gaps, designing systems to improve productivity, resolving conflicts and implementing changes;

-Conduct background checks especially for applicants who will be tasked to handle tangible resources. As a form of due diligence, check criminal and financial history, as well as drug abuse, to preclude potential civil liability;

-Facilitate productive employee orientation, designate a mentor, and blend new employee into the company and its culture.  This process involves informal technology transfer or transmission of knowledge for the new employee’s preparedness to assume a position;

-Evaluate post-special project results by identifying and clarifying issues and priorities, identifying milestone accomplishments, determining optional or alternative courses of action, and changing assumptions and directions for future projects;

-Guide management and employee actions by researching, developing, formulating office policies, procedures, methods, and guidelines, which includes updating the Employee Handbook and implementing and utilizing effective communication;

-Recommend and implement changes in policies and procedures based on employee and company needs, as well as factors affecting the well-being of employees.  An example is the emergence of the pandemic in 2019 wherein new safety protocols were put into place;

-Administer and manage employee compensation, benefits, and Workers Comp;

-Plan, coordinate, cultivate teamwork, and implement personnel training, health and safety programs for Caregivers.  This includes activities set up for the 1Heart Caregiver University and management of all HR activities such as employee orientation and Team Buildings;-Plan personnel forecast, identify and develop high-potential employees for succession planning in case of abrupt employee resignations or transfers;-Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, anticipating legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions. Ensure that the company protects the rights of its employees, avoid unnecessary claims, costly fines, penalties, and damage to the company’s reputation and resources

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Psychology, Human Resources, Business, Communications, or related

Hours:  9:00 AM – 5:00 PM  40 HR WK

Salary:  $85,550.00 Per Year

Location of Employment:  Tarzana, CA
