January Tiu
1Heart Caregiver Services – Campbell was conceived because of the commitment of January Tiu, a graduate of BS Nursing with a master’s degree in Family Nurse Practice.
She is proud of her 17 years of experience in the field of patient care. It started from being a caregiver, which then paved the way to being a nurse practitioner. Caregiving enabled her to fully understand patients’ needs and made her realize how they depend so much on their caregivers. Her daily encounters with her care recipients enriched her determination to someday establish an agency where she can provide more help to the community through bedside care. The challenging episodes she experienced along the way enabled her to handle difficult situations and the length of service she rendered taught her to establish compassionate and meaningful relationships with the patient and their families.
Our goal in 1Heart is to provide the highest level of services through dedicated and well-trained caregivers, with January’s close supervision.
With her bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Nursing, and her experience as a family nurse practitioner, January is confident that she is able to manage cases and provide the best professional caregiving service in Campbell.
Miguel Carlos Llamado
As a co-owner of a caregiver agency, Miguel had an unusual trajectory in the world of caregiving. He has no previous experience as a caregiver, but his journey began when he was diagnosed with cancer.
His diagnosis came as a shock to him and his family. It was a very difficult time, and as he started my treatment, he was filled with fear and uncertainty. During this time, he had the opportunity to interact with many caregivers who helped him get through the treatment process. He witnessed firsthand the amount of hard work, dedication, and selflessness that caregivers put into their work, and it inspired him to start a caregiver agency of his own.
As someone who has gone through the experience of dealing with a serious illness, he believes that caregivers play a vital role in the recovery of their patients. The kindness and compassion that caregivers show to those in their care is truly remarkable, and he wanted to, not only create a place that would empower and provide support to these caregivers, but also ensure that they are treated with respect and dignity in their work environment.
His knowledge of business and technology has also helped him immensely in running a successful agency. He uses technology to streamline the process of connecting clients with the right caregivers, and he also has systems in place to ensure that our caregivers receive the necessary training and support.
As a caregiver agency owner, his focus has always been on providing exceptional service to our clients and creating a supportive and empowering work environment for our caregivers. Through his journey, he has learned that the act of caregiving is a noble and rewarding profession, and he is proud to be a part of this community.
Richard Garingalao
Richard was born on a small island in the Pacific, to a culture of care and compassion for family and friends. At an early age, due to financial reasons, he had to help care for his aging grandfather. He realized then how improving the quality of his grandparent’s life, gave him a sense of purpose and meaning.
Richard has dedicated his life to providing quality care to those in need. His journey into the caregiving industry started over a decade ago when he found himself caring for a client who was diagnosed with a debilitating illness. He has experienced firsthand the challenges and rewards of caregiving and has developed a deep passion for helping others live their best lives. This experience inspired him to, not only pursue a career in caregiving, but he dreamed of teaching other people, so that they too, can find meaning and purpose.
As an entrepreneur, he is always looking for new ways to improve the quality of care that we provide. He believes that the key to success in this industry is compassion, communication, and teamwork. He works closely with our clients and their families to understand their unique needs and preferences, and we strive to provide personalized care that meets those needs.
He is proud to lead a team of dedicated and compassionate caregivers who are committed to making a positive difference in the lives of our clients. We understand the importance of building strong relationships with our clients and their families, and we work hard to ensure that our clients feel comfortable, safe, and supported in their homes.
