Caring for people has always been a part of Marianne. For 15 years, she worked as a Flight Attendant, where she learned that every small act of kindness, a reassuring word, a helping hand, a patient smile, can make a world of difference. She had the privilege of looking after people from all walks of life, often during their most vulnerable moments, and that experience stayed with her.
When it came time for a new chapter in her life, she knew she wanted to continue serving others in a meaningful way. That’s when she found her true calling in caregiving. With 1Heart Walnut Creek, she dedicated herself to helping seniors live with dignity, comfort, and joy while giving families the peace of mind they deserve.
This work is more than a business to her, it’s personal. She knows how much trust it takes to place your loved one in someone else’s care. That’s why she led with compassion, integrity, and a genuine commitment to treat every client like family. The caregivers on their team share that same heart, and together they strive to create not just quality care, but also meaningful connections.

Mark Morales is the Client Care Manager at 1Heart Walnut Creek, CA, where he leads with compassion, integrity, and dedication to providing exceptional care for seniors and their families. He brings over 14 years of supervisory experience in security operations at San Francisco International Airport, where he developed strong leadership, organizational, and people management skills.
Throughout his career, Mark has been known for his ability to stay composed under pressure, motivate teams, and build trust with both colleagues and clients. His passion for helping others, especially the elderly, guided him to transition into the caregiving field, where he finds deep fulfillment in making a positive difference in people’s lives every day.
In his role at 1Heart, Mark works closely with families and caregivers to ensure that each client receives personalized, compassionate, and reliable support. He believes caregiving is not just about assistance, but about fostering dignity, respect, and connection.
Mark graduated from National University in the Philippines with a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, major in Business Administration. His education, leadership background, and genuine desire to serve others continue to drive his mission of improving the quality of life for seniors in his community.

Maria Teresa Ramos
Payroll and Billing Administrator
Maria Teresa have brought more than 40 years of combined experience in bookkeeping, customer service, and accounting to our business. For 13 years, she worked as a bookkeeper, and for 23 years she served as a lead in customer service, roles that taught her not only accuracy and organization, but also the value of building trust and treating people with care. She also gained valuable accounting experience as a junior accountant with a Japanese firm for 5 years.
In their caregiving business, she oversees accounting and financial management, but her approach goes far beyond numbers. Her background has shaped her into someone who is reliable, hardworking, and deeply compassionate. She believes every client deserves to be treated with the same respect and care she would give her own family, and she brings that philosophy into everything she does here.

Ed Rodriguez
Training Manager/ Advisory
Ed have over 40 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, guiding their caregiving business with both clinical expertise and compassion. Throughout his career, he has dedicated himself to providing dependable, high-quality care, always treating clients as if they were their own family.
As an advisory Nurse Manager, he works behind the scenes to ensure their caregiving team follows the best practices and maintains the highest standards of care. His role is to support, guide, and mentor, so every client feels safe, respected, and valued. Hardworking and dependable, he believe that knowledge and compassion together create the foundation for excellent care.
