1Heart Caregiver Services is an in-home care agency that specializes in providing caregiving services to the elderly and other adults who require some assistance in meeting their healthcare needs.
We understand that the vulnerability of the frail, elderly, or disabled individual requires the presence of a caregiver who is not only experienced and trained but also trustworthy, honest and sensitive to the needs of her care recipient. Our caregivers are trained to work in conjunction with other professional service providers and to become first line reporters of changes in the client’s condition.
Our innovative team approach is designed to address the specific needs of our clients and their families. We explore possibilities instead of focusing on limitations. Our caregivers are carefully matched to ensure they are an appropriate fit for the individual whose care they are responsible for.
Our caregivers are employees who are bonded, insured, health cleared and background checked.
Yet, like most immigrants who came to this country, Belina felt that moving to the United States was the best decision she could make for her family even though this meant being away from her parents who were now approaching their golden years.
The guilt and sadness of being far away and not being able to take care of her mother was frustrating but finding a reliable caregiver gave her the peace of mind that her mom was taken care of by someone who really cared for her.
The realization that other people have to cope with the same unfortunate situation inspired Belina to provide families with the peace of mind that even in their absence, their loved one was in good hands. Shortly after her mom’s passing, she started 1Heart, a company that was founded on a commitment that no one has to feel the frustration of not being there for their aging parents.
Since its inception, the 1Heart family of caregivers continue to provide reliable, responsible and professional in home care to every person they care for. This is her way of giving back to mom the love and care that she wasn’t able to give in person because of the distance that separated them.

Our team is comprised of Staffing and Client Care Managers who will work closely with you starting with the initial Assessment, making the Plan of Care and carefully selecting the perfect caregivers to suit the needs, interests and preferences of your loved one.

Founder & CEO
Belina Calderon-Nernberg is the CEO and founder of a group of successful companies – 1Heart Caregiver Services, LA Jobs Employment Agency Inc. and Summit Medical Billing Solutions, Inc.
As President and CEO of 1Heart Caregiver Services, one of the fastest growing in-home care service companies in California, Belina has been responsible for the company’s increased productivity and consistent profitability for more than 12 years. Belina provided the vision, leadership and direction that the company needed to achieve its short-term and long-term goals. As her greatest accomplishment, the company is now equipped with expertise to expand its business operations to different States in the U.S.
Belina brings with her a corporate experience of 23 years, with 13 solid years of experience as CEO of an employment agency and a senior care service company in Southern California. Belina’s principle-centered leadership and strength in her ability to combine corporate talents pave the way for the company to achieve greater heights.
Belina has a degree in Economics from the University of St. La Salle, Philippines. In 2013, she was honored with the Los Angeles IMAGE AWARDS – an award given to emerging leaders in business, community service, arts and entertainment.
In June 2014, she was also awarded the title of Ambassador of Goodwill by the HiFi (Historic Filipinotown) Neighborhood Council. This title is bestowed to carefully selected Filipino-Americans who are persons of integrity who have the ability “to promote, reach out, influence and mobilize public interest and support of the ideals, values, principles and programs of the Historic Filipinotown.” In December 2015, she was also the recipient of the TOPLA (The Outstanding Pilipinos in Los Angeles) Award for Leadership Excellence in Human Resources.
Belina’s company has been a certified member of reputable home care associations and have been featured in Asian newspapers and other media publications all over the United States like Yahoo! News, Google, TV, radio and newspaper online due to its various accomplishments, corporate programs and contribution to the senior care industry. Belina’s vision remains solid and strategic as the company moves forward in its goal of making a positive difference in the home care industry.
Chief Operating Officer
Kevin Tagarao is the Chief Operating Officer of 1Heart Caregiver Services. He is responsible for franchise support and development of the 1Heart Franchise network and corporate-owned locations. With the vision of evolving 1Heart Caregiver Services into a premier national home care provider, Kevin has made it his focus to enhance company services and streamline corporate procedures. With extensive experience in home care operations and caregiver workforce development, Kevin specializes in building scalable systems that empower franchise owners while maintaining exceptional care standards. He works closely with franchisees to optimize performance in areas such as recruitment and retention, training, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance. To improve efficiency, he has consolidated 1Heart’s core systems by facilitating the integration of new technologies. His implementation of various organizational initiatives has helped improve the effectiveness of 1Heart’s system of operations to better serve families across the nation.
Chief Growth Officer
Randolph Neil Clarito is the Chief Growth Officer of 1Heart Caregiver Services. He is responsible for the implementation of corporate strategy to achieve the company’s desired business growth and the acquisition of new 1Heart agency locations.
Randolph is equipped with 38 successful years of corporate experience, including top 500 Fortune companies, holding top executive positions as Chief Operating Officer, Executive Vice President, Senior Vice President, General Manager, Trainer, and Faculty Speaker as well as 8 years experience as a Master Franchisor trained in St. Louis Missouri, Taipei Taiwan and other parts of the USA and Asia. In 2016, Randolph received The Outstanding Pilipinos in Los Angeles Award (TOP LA Award) for ‘Leadership Excellence’.
