Racquel Estrada

Celebrating 10 years of working with 1 Heart Caregiver Services, we honor one of our very best caregivers who started with us on October 19, 2004. With a Bachelor’s Degree in Arts and Economics, Racquel Estrada immigrated to the United States in August 2004. Not finding an office job, she decided to take on a caregiving position offered by 1Heart. The moment she started her first job caring for the elderly, she realized her calling.

Taking care of the frail and those in need of companionship, support and caring was what she was excellent at. The compassion and “heart’ for the care recipient and their family is the one true value that Racquel shares with us. She is truly a model 1Heart caregiver.

A single mom, she worked hard to give her kids a good education and life here in the US. Now, Ernesto Edwin, her 31 year old son is a nurse working with IHSS and Maria Aileen, her 29 yr old daughter is a registered nurse at Cedars-Sinai. Recently, Racquel also welcomed her first grandson. Congratulations to you Racquel! Our sincerest thanks for the past 10 years of being an integral part of the 1Heart family.
